Misandry (/mɪˈsændri/) is the hatred of, contempt for, or prejudice against men or boys in general.

The role of misandry in feminism is controversial and has been debated both within and outside feminist movements. Accusations of misandry have been used to criticize feminism, particularly men's rights activists. The validity of these perceptions and of the concept has been questioned as promoting a false equivalence between misandry and misogyny.
