Joint presentation of German nanotechnology companies

(Nanowerk News) Nanotechnology products "Made in Germany" were the focus of a joint presentation of industrial companies and research institutions at the NanoKorea Fair in Seoul at the end of August. One highlight at this so called "German Area" was a thre dimensional glass car which was used to exhibit concrete examples of nanotechnological applications in the automotive sector.
This exhibition is part of a series of international presentations of German achievements in the area of nanotechnology initiated by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and organised by the VDI Technologiezentrum GmbH.
The next "German Area" will open its gates at the RusNanoTech fair in in Moscow in October 2009. After a succesful premiere last year, the exhibition space is already booked out.
Interested companies can, however, still register for the presentation at the CIIF fair in Shanghai at the beginning of November.
