Announcing the International Workshop on Nanomedicine at NanoSpain

(Nanowerk News) In March 2010, the 7th NanoSpain conference, an annual event, will be held in Malaga. The event has been created by the Spanish Nanotechnology Network in collaboration with the Portuguese Nanotechnology Network and the French C'Nano GSO Network, with the aim of facilitating the dissemination of knowledge and promote interdisciplinary discussions on the field of Nanotechnology.
NanoSpain2010 will take place in the Malaga Congress Center (Malaga, Spain), March 23-26, 2010.
Taking this opportunity, Progress and Health Foundation (FPS) in collaboration with the Spanish NanoMedicine Platform (NANOMED), the Biomedical Research Networking Center in Bioengineering, Biomaterials and Nanomedicine (CIBER-BBN), the University of Málaga and the Phantoms Foundation has organized a satellite International Workshop on Nanomedicine. Co-located with the NanoSpain Conference, this workshop will be held in the Málaga Congress Center (Málaga, Spain), March 25th, 2010, with the goal of highlighting the launch of the Andalusian Centre for Nanomedicine and Biotechnology (BIONAND).
This new centre, promoted by the Regional Ministry of Health, the Regional Ministry of Innovation, Science and Enterprise and the University of Malaga, will host around 150 scientists in a newly built centre of 6,500 m2 located in the Andalusian Technology Park in Campanillas, Málaga.
