Senior Designer Product Development

Eindhoven (The Netherlands), fulltime

 

Your Responsibilities As a Designer Product Development or Production Systems you work in a multi-disciplinary project team of highly skilled technical experts from both Philips Innovation Services and our customers. You play an important role in development projects in the field of high precision, healthcare and consumer products. Therefore you will need to understand and be able to work with other disciplines like electronics, software, dynamics, thermo dynamics, optics and more. You contribute to creative and constructive solutions for mechanisms and concept choices.

Requirements:

In our Senior Designer Product Development we are looking for
• Bachelor or Master degree in engineering, discipline depending on the position 
• At least five to ten years work experience in a high-tech environment 
• Familiarity with all disciplines within mechatronics 
• Willingness to travel to the USA, Asia and Europe (10%-25%) 
• A proven team player and creative 
• Ability to give a clear and convincing presentation to a critical group of people, both inside and outside Philips

• Depending on experience, a year salary (fulltime) between € 60.000,- and € 78.000,-(including personal benefits package)

Your team
As a senior designer product development at Philips Innovation Service you’ll be part of an over 1000-strong team of technology experts, designers, project managers and consultants who have decades of experience in supporting customers both inside and outside Philips - from major companies in sectors such as semiconductor manufacturing and healthcare to highly innovative start-ups. 

In the Mechatronics department (approximately 200 employees) you’ll be a key member of the team responsible for developing breakthrough solutions in areas such as smooth motion control, ultra-high accuracy positioning systems, nanometer accurate lithography, advanced healthcare products and production equipment. You’ll enjoy the resources to investigate new concepts, design new solutions and realize prototypes using the latest design techniques and process technologies.
