The story of a nanotechnology start-up

(Nanowerk News) PharmaTelevision talks to Professor Tom Rademacher a professor at University College London (UCL)'s Immunology & Molecular Pathology Department, and President of Midatech, about the formation of the Midatech, Professor Rademacher’s fifth start-up company. Midatech is focused on exploring the possibilities of nanotechnology, particularly for medical therapeutic and diagnostic applications.
Specifically, the company is a manufacturer of biocompatible nanoparticles called nanocells. They possess a number of unique properties that make them ideal for therapeutics, diagnostics and other enabling applications.
He also talks in depth about the science behind the company's nanoparticle technology, as well as its applications in therapeutics, diagnostics and surface coatings.
