The objective of the ISNEPP series of symposia is to advance the emerging field of nanotechnology in the areas of environmental protection and remediation, public health, energy resources and production, and standards and regulation. The symposium provides a platform for researchers and industry to highlight new developments and needs in these areas. Discussion rounds and panel sessions provide for input from policy makers and regulators.
The major topic areas of the symposium are:
  • Detection & remediation
  • Toxicity & exposure assessment
  • Energy & sustainable future
  • Life cycle
  • Development of standards
  • Sector focus: food & agriculture and health & medicine
  • The peer-reviewed Proceeding will be published in a Special Issue of a peer reviewed journal: Past peer reviews ISNEPP proceedings have been published in Journal of Science and Technology for Advanced Materials.
