Italian nanotechnology conference announced for September

(Nanowerk News) The fourth annual Nanoforum conference will take place in Milan, Italy on September 17-18, 2008.
One of the key goals of the conference and exhibition is to promote nanotechnology knowledge transfer from the academic world to industry. The event also provides an opportunity to learn about the state of nanotechnology research and development in Italy and to establish contacts with Italian and foreign researchers, also thanks to the collaboration with ICE – the Italian institute for foreign trade.
The main topics of the conference are specific industrial areas (automotive; manufacturing, design and architecture; micro- and nanoelectronics; nanomedicine; textile), technologies (materials; micro- and nanodevices; sensors; instruments), and services (patents; financing; partnering).
Foreign delegations from China, India, japan and the U.S. already have confirmed their presence at Nanoforum 2008. See http://www.nanoforum.it/english/foreign_delegations.htm for details.
